Gary Leseman, P.E.
Gary Leseman is President of L.C. Eldridge Sales Co., Inc. and Eldridge Engineering Group (div). He has over 35 years of experience at Eldridge. He has directed the expansion of the company from primarily a regional manufacturers’ representative organization to one that also includes the Eldridge Engineering Group (div). Through this engineering division, the company has the capability to engineer, design, build, and install complete ventilation systems relating to industrial, process, power, mine, and marine applications worldwide.
Gary attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned an officer in the United States Air Force. He was trained and certified through the USAF Aircraft Maintenance Officer Course and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Course. He served as the Officer in Charge of F4 and F105 Flight Line Maintenance Squadrons and was promoted to Chief of Management Support Group of the 35th Tactical Fighter Wing.
Upon completion of his Air Force commitment, Gary joined Eldridge as a Sales Engineer to sell and manage ventilation projects. Over the years, he has been involved in ventilation and noise control projects of power barges, gas pipeline compressor stations, underground mines, gas turbine package power, mobile offshore drilling rigs, and various other industrial and power generating facilities. He has engineered, designed, sold, and built specialty marine ventilation systems, air filtration units, explosion proof dehumidifiers, air/water separation systems, acoustic silencers/enclosures, and reciprocating engine exhaust dispersion systems.
He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers; American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers; and Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc.
Gary is co-inventor on seven patents issued by the United States Patent Office for equipment used on Mobile Offshore Drilling Units, as well as four international patents with three more pending.
Gary is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
When he’s not in the office, Gary enjoys cattle ranching, clay pigeon shooting, golf, Texas A&M football, and classic rock & roll music.
