Short-Term Solutions
One of the post pandemic issues that is still plaguing industrial equipment manufacturers is extended lead times. That is also true for desiccant dehumidifier manufacturers. Lately, we have heard our customers say that they need a dehumidification solution now, instead of months down the road. With IDS, we now have the capability to provide a short-term solution for our customers while they wait for their permanent unit to be built.
We also believe that there are customers with other short-term dehumidification needs that we can now address:
- Emergency water damage drying.
- Construction drying and moisture control.
- Tank cleaning, painting, and coating.
- Seasonal humidity and IAQ control.
Rental Fleet
Much like we will do for a permanent solution, Eldridge we evaluate all of the humidity loads on a space to determine the right volume of dry air needed for a short-term rental unit. Then from IDS’ large fleet of units that provide air flows from 200 CFM up to 15,000 CFM, we will find the right unit or units to match the dry air requirement. If the application requires it, we can provide pre and post cooling with rental AC units. Also, if there is not enough power, we can provide rental generators to provide electricity for the dehumidification equipment.
Turnkey Service
To make the rental experience simple and efficient for the customer, IDS provides turnkey service that includes:
- Delivery and set-up.
- Start-up and commissioning.
- Periodic maintenance for longer-term rentals
- Pack-up and haul-off of equipment at end of rental term.
