Eldridge was on the scene at the very beginning of the offshore oil exploration boom in the 1950’s, when the first offshore drilling rigs were launched.  Long-time owner, Walter Leseman, played a key role in developing the ventilation systems for most of the rigs that were being built.  Today, Eldridge continues to develop solutions for offshore drilling rigs all over the world.

Eldridge Marine Duty Fans are an extension of our Heavy-Duty Fan products with superior coatings to protect against rust and corrosion.  These fans are available with marine duty motors and additional protections to meet the most stringent safety requirements of our customers.   

Available features include:

• Performance up to 120,000 CFM (200mm-2,000mm)
• Pressures up to 8”wg (2,000 Pa)
• DNV certified non-sparking for hazardous duty
• IEEE45 or IEEE841 Marine Duty Safe Area or Explosion Proof (XP) Motor
• Aluminum rub rings
• Extended electrical leeds to outside of the housing
• External junction box
