Industrial fans are among the hardest-working pieces of equipment across various industries. They operate continuously to control airflow, remove heat, ventilate hazardous spaces, exhaust fumes, and protect critical equipment. Because these fans often run around the clock, even a minor mechanical issue can quickly become a costly production problem. A comprehensive industrial fan maintenance program …

Offshore oil and gas operations are among the most demanding industrial environments in the world. Every piece of equipment installed on an offshore production platform or drilling rig must withstand relentless humidity, corrosive salt air, extreme weather, and potentially explosive atmospheres. While ventilation systems, fans, and gas detection equipment often receive the most attention, one critical component frequently works behind the scenes to protect both personnel and infrastructure—the explosion-proof desiccant dehumidifier.

On Tuesday, June 30th, the Eldridge team, along with family, friends, customers, and industry partners, gathered to celebrate Fred Mott’s retirement after 36 years. The evening served as an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable career and lasting impact Fred has had on our company and the people he’s worked with over the years.

Industrial ventilation design is about much more than moving air from one place to another. Effective ventilation systems must control temperature, humidity, air quality, and pressure relationships while maintaining worker comfort, protecting products, and ensuring process reliability. One of the most important tools engineers use to achieve these goals is the psychrometric chart. Although modern …
