Eldridge Employees Participate in Community Events

Throughout the fall, Eldridge Employees participated in several community events.  We also had one very notable career milestone occur for one of our employees’ daughters.  Read about these events below.

Empowering Women out of Prison (EWOP) Business Plan Competition

Members of the Eldridge Leadership and Care Teams were honored to participate in EWOP’s Fall Semester Business Plan Competition.  EWOP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that specifically serves women incarcerated in the state of Texas.  It is based out of the Gegory S. Coleman Unit in Lockhart, Texas.   It has an in-depth application process, including details of past life decisions, desire for transformation, plans for reentry and an expressed need to change.  Since its inception in 2019, it has a 0% recidivism rate.

National Christian Foundation (NCF) Golf Tournament

Eldridge Team Members, Fred Mott, Josh Janecek, and Eric Touma represented Eldridge at this year’s NCF Golf Tournament at Blackhorse Country Club.  Fred’s involvement with Houston West EMMAUS for the past decade has inspired Eldridge to participate as a sponsor for the NCF Golf Outing.  Eldridge’s Care Team and Ministry support our team member’s faith driven outreach and volunteerism in the community.

Custom Air Products & Services (CAPS) Annual Clay Shoot

The Eldridge Team took time off from targeting sales goals to target clay discs at the CAPS Annual Clay Shoot.  The event was held at the Westside Sporting Grounds.  Participants from Eldridge were Josh Janecek, Clayton Settle, Chris Schell and Ed Neese.  While the team had a very enjoyable time, they will need to spend more time practicing before next year’s event.

Chessa White Passes the Texas Bar Exam

Lynn and Chris White are very proud that their daughter, Chessa White, has passed the Texas bar exam and was sworn in to practice law.  The youngest of five children, she knew early on that she wanted to be a lawyer.  Chessa attended the University of Texas Austin and received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in English.  She graduated in May 2025 with her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.  Chessa is now working full-time for a law firm that specializes in criminal defense.
